Selling fees: items selling for $100.00 or more, the fee is $25 plus 3%.

This will be a very interesting auction with buyers attending from at least 3 states.
The auction is held inside our heated buildings, with seating, food,
plenty of close parking, and restrooms. Our entire facility is handicap accessible.
The auction starts at 9:30 am, and the doors open at 8am auction day for inspection.

AUCTION PAYMENT TERMS
So that sellers can sell their items at the lowest prices, we are no longer
charging the seller's a 10% selling commission fee at the auction. This allows
more sellers to bring a bigger selection of items to sell at much lower prices
they will not be adding a selling commission to their selling
There is a 10% buyer's premium on all "on site" purchases.
All you need to do is adjust your bidding price to allow for the
10% buyer's premium which is added to your winning bid.
The bid price plus the buyer's premium is your purchase price.
- OR -
There is a 15% buyer's premium on all "absentee" purchases.
We incur additional expenses to do the absentee bids,
so we pass those additional costs to the absentee buyers.
3% SERVICE FEE CHARGED ON ALL CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS.
This service fee is being charged because your credit card company charges us, the merchants,
a fee every time you use your credit card to pay.
As these credit card company fees that are charged to us keep going up,
we can no longer afford to pay these fees out of our pockets.
You can pay with cash or a check (as listed below) and avoid the credit card fees.
BUYER'S PAYMENT TERMS
- Buyers must register for a buyer’s number.
- Driver’s license is required.
- There is NO charge for the buyer’s number

- ALL PURCHASES: Minimum of 25% down payment required on auction day with the balance to be paid on the Monday after the
auction from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm or the following Saturday between 9:00 am
and noon (Michigan time zone)
- TRAVELERS CHECKS in U.S. funds are accepted with pictured ID (driver's license). Cashier checks are NOT accepted.
- VISA, MASTERCARD, AND DISCOVER cards are accepted with a 3% service fee. The credit card companies charge US, THE MERCHANT, a % fee that we have to pay them everytime we accept your credit card. Their rates have gone up, and we can no longer afford to pay their fees out of our pocket. PLEASE CONSIDER PAYING BY CASH OR CHECKS - SEE BELOW.
- NO OUT OF STATE PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS are

We can store your purchases inside our facility for up to 30 days if you wish.
To buy snowmobiles here at the auction and transport them across the border,
here is what Canadian buyers from previous auctions this year have told us they do---
(all the buyers we have talked to have crossed at Port Huron, Michigan-
we assume this information is valid for the other entry points, too)
When they have bought snowmobiles at the auction, as of November 2011,
they indicated that you will have to submit copies of your invoice
and title or registration or Certificate of Origin to the U.S. Customs office
at least 72 hours prior to your crossing the border.
Be sure that you buy only snowmobiles that have a registration or title or Certificate of Origin.
You can NOT take snowmobiles into Canada that have only a bill of sale.
You will pay your Canadian fees at the Canadian Customs and head home!
If you buy an item with a TITLE (for example, a 4 wheeler ATV, a street bike, car, truck)
they said you need to submit copies of your invoice and title to the U.S. Customs office
where you will cross at least 72 hours prior to your crossing the border. Since the item has a title,
you will need to get into the line on the US Customs side marked for "titles vehicles".
FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you need information about Canadian Border Customs requirements,
you can call the Canadian Border Services Agency at: (English) -- 1- 800- 461- 9999 or
(French) -- 1 - 800 - 959 - 2036or visit them at www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca For U.S. Customs requirements,
visit www.customs.gov or contact the port crossing directly at the location where you
will you will crossing into Canada---for example, Port Huron, Detroit, etc.....
* When you come to our auction, you will want to buy only those snowmobiles or ATVs
that have a state registration -or- Certificate of Origin -or- a title.
You must have one of these documents along with the White Star Auction "bill of sale"
in order to get across the border. The items in the auction are tagged with this information,
so you will know during inspection which items come with the required documents.
INFORMATION ON PAYING MICHIGAN SALES TAX
Canadian businesses with a sales tax exempt license:
Prior to buying, we need a copy of your business sales tax license so
your purchases will be sales tax free here at the auction.
Canadian buyers without a business sales tax license:
you will be charged Michigan 6% sales tax.
You can get a FULL REFUND of your Michigan sales tax mailed
to you if you provide us the following within
30 calendar days after your purchases:
A copy of your customs paperwork showing that your items
were transported into Canada
- that can be a customs declaration form
or a bill of lading stamped at the border by customs.
The forms MUST be stamped at customs, and a copy
of that STAMPED FORM needs to be faxed to us
at 517 369 2024 before you get the sales tax refund.
A SPECIAL WELCOME TO OUR OVERSEA'S BUYERS
WHO SHIP CONTAINER LOADS OF SNOWMOBILES AND ATV'S BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY.
We can work with your container shipping company/ exporter to load items into their
trucks with our forklifts by appointment. We do NOT have facilities for packing,
crating, disassembly of product,or other such activities. You should make arrangements
with your container shipping company/exporter to do these activities for you at their facility.
