Powersports Auctions: 

Small miscellaneous items are sold live, on-site starting at 10AM, larger items are up for pre-bidding for one week before the start of the live auction, then switch to live internet and on-site bidding around noon on auction day. 

Onsite bidders: 10% buyer's premium on all purchases (maximum buyer's premium per item is $500) 

Online bidders: 12% buyer's premium on all purchases (maximum buyer's premium per item is $500)

6% Michigan sales tax on all purchases (purchase price includes buyer's premium per Michigan law) 

Minimum 25% down on auction day. Payment in full within 7 days. We accept cash in US funds, checks up to $5,000 form buyers in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio (the information on your check must match your driver's license), Visa, Mastercard, Discover (3% credit card surcharge). We do not accept debit cards or American Express. 

Inspection: The- day before the auction from 2PM to 6PM. Auction Day starting at 9AM. 

All items sold as is, inspect before you bid. All sales are final, no returns or refunds for any reason. Compression checks are allowed. Odometer readings are not guaranteed to be actual miles, we announce what the odometer reads. 

If picking up on auction day, please have your paid invoice in hand before entering the lot to load your items. Open for removal auction day until one hour after the conclusion of the auction, the following Monday from 2PM to 6PM, and the following Saturday from 9AM to noon. 

All auction parking other than handicap permit is southeast of the intersection of White Star Drive and Central Road on our 13-acre lot. Handicap parking only at Backyard Kreations auction day. No auction parking at Bill's Steak House.  

Concession stand on site provided by Bronson Community Schools Athletic Boosters. All proceeds go to local youth.  

State registration and title information: 

Snowmobiles

If we sell a snowmobile with a previous owner’s registration, title, or Certificate of Origin (C of O), you can buy it and get it registered in any state or Canada. The buyer does their own paperwork at their Secretary of State (SOS) office. If we sell a snowmobile with a Bill of Sale only, buyers from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin can register the snowmobile at their SOS. Buyers from anywhere else cannot, but anyone can obtain a Michigan registration at a Michigan SOS office with a White Star Auction Bill of Sale.

ORV’s (ATV’s, UTV’s, SXS & Dirt Bikes)

If we sell an ORV with the previous owner’s title, you can title it in any state or Canada. The buyer does their own paperwork at their SOS office. If we sell an ORV with a Bill of Sale only, you cannot get a Michigan title. If you are from anywhere other than Michigan, you need to check your state laws and buy accordingly as there are no refunds for any reason.

Watercraft

If we sell a personal watercraft (PWC), inboard boat, or inboard/outboard boat with the previous owner’s title, you can title and/or register it in any state or Canada. If we sell an outboard boat with a registration, you can register it in any state or Canada. The buyer does their own paperwork at their SOS office. If we sell any watercraft with a Bill of Sale only, you will not be able to title and/or register it in Michigan. If you are from anywhere other than Michigan, you need to check your state laws and buy accordingly as there are no refunds for any reason.
